Born Masumbuko Gordon T. Dave , in Antwerp, Babybang got his nickname from his friends because he was the smallest and loudest member of the crew . He grew up listening to soul blues reggae disco hiphop jazz and soca music And this made him a musical centipede .
He is rated one of Europe’s top ranked Urban club and dancehall dj’s and it doesn’t seem there’s any stopping him in the near future

EARLY LIFE
Born Masumbuko Gordon Timothy Dave, in Berchem, Antwerp. Dave got his nickname from his friends because he was the smallest and loudest member of the crew. After graduating cooking school, Babybang got faced with the reality that FINDING A JOB wasn’t always that easy in the early 90’s so he did what allot of his friends did and looked for alternative ways to get money. Music was his way of expressing his troubles and joys.
BABYBANG THE ARTIST
His older BROTHER came home one day and wrote him in a local rap contest where he took 3rd place. True this Babybang met back then Antwerp’s biggest producer “LUNAMAN” , which led to Babybang’s start in the music business where he landed his first real studio releases including the Europe clubbanger “F*CKING YOUR GIRL” this song made them land club gigs all over Europe and the “Foxy brown ILL NANA tour”, They got signed by MOTOR music (UNIVERSAL MUSIC) and started the group “KRAZEE ALLEY”. Years later he started and hosted the “DUTTYROOM” a dancehall concept going down every Sunday in one of Europe’s Hottest nightclubs (after running it for 14 years he stepped away from this concept to focus on new directions and goals) he started “DOCTORBEATS INTERNATIONAL” a production house and label doing everything from audio production mixing & mastering based in Belgium Europe.And signed to top rated managing/booking Agency NightRepublik . 2014 he is still one of Europe’s most relevant Dj’s
