Lieve vrienden,
Het is ondertussen een jaar geleden dat we in lockdown gingen. Editie 2020 is overgeslagen maar voor de komende editie op 9, 10 en 11 Juli zijn we nog steeds hoopvol. Jullie hebben ongetwijfeld gemerkt dat wij in ticketverkoop zijn en Martin Solveig opnieuw heeft bevestigd als headliner. De komende dagen maken we ook de stage hostings bekend voor onze 3 unieke festivaldagen: Urban Friday, Clubbing Saturday en Classic Sunday.
Waarom blijven wij optimistisch voor de komende (festival)zomer?
Ostend Beach is een klein “boutique” festival en kan doorgaan met een capaciteit van 5.000 bezoekers per dag. We kunnen ons terrein ook groter maken en zijn er van overtuigd dat we kunnen voldoen aan eventuele maatregelen die opgelegd worden om kleine festivals mogelijk te maken deze zomer. We volgen de ontwikkelingen van nabij op en kijken samen met de politiek en virologen uit naar een opening met behulp van sneltesten, negatieve PCR-testen en/of een Covid-vaccinatie paspoort. We zijn immers verheugd dat de overheid constructief meewerkt aan deze oplossingen.
Helaas moeten we op heden nog even afwachten wat de uitkomst zal zijn voor de zomer en verwachten we een antwoord eind april, begin mei. Voor ons festival is deze timing nog net op tijd om de productie op te starten. Indien echter wordt beslist dat er geen kleine festivals kunnen plaatsvinden in het begin van de zomer, hebben we reeds een alternatief uitgewerkt om zowel in het begin van de zomer als op het einde van de zomer samen te kunnen zijn met jullie. Volg hiervoor zeker onze website en socials. We houden jullie hier uiteraard ook op de hoogte mbt de ticketregeling.
We benadrukken graag nog eens dat iedereen zich zo goed mogelijk moet vasthouden aan de maatregelen. Als we nog even op onze tanden bijten, kunnen we samen uitkijken naar de 3de Summer of Love, daar zijn we van overtuigd! Noteer alvast ook vrijdag 9 April voor een nieuwe Livestream Session met onze headline dj’s.

Dear friends,
It has been a year since we went into lockdown. We are still hopeful for the edition of 2021 on 9, 10 and 11 July. No doubt that you noticed that the ticket sales started for this amazing festival where Martin Solveig is re-confirmed as headliner. In the coming days we will announce the stage hostings for our 3 unique festival days: Urban Friday, Clubbing Saturday and Classic Sunday.
Why do we remain optimistic for the coming (festival) summer?
Ostend Beach is a small “boutique” festival with a capacity of 5,000 visitors per day. Our site can be expanded and we are convinced that we can comply with any measures that will be imposed, to make small festivals possible this summer. We are following the developments closely and together with politicians and virologists we look forward to an opening with the help of rapid tests, negative PCR-tests and/or a Covid-vaccination passport. After all, we are pleased that the government is cooperating constructively on these solutions.
We expect an answer about the outcome for the summer at the end of April, beginning of May. For our festival, this is still in time to start production. If it is decided that no small festivals can take place in the beginning of the summer, we have already worked out an alternative to be able to be together with you at the start and end of the summer! Be sure to follow our website en socials. We’ll keep you up to date about tickets as well.
We would like to emphasize once again that everyone must stick to the measures as best as possible. We can look forward to the 3rd Summer of Love, we are convinced of that! Make a note of Friday April 9 for our new Livestream Session with our headline DJs.

Cela fait un an que nous sommes confinés. L'édition 2020 a été malheureusement supprimée mais nous avons bon espoir pour la prochaine des 9, 10 et 11 juillet 2021. Vous avez sans doute remarqué que la vente de billets a commencé, et que nous avons reconfirmé Martin Solveig en tête d'affiche. Dans les prochains jours, nous annoncerons également nos partenaires promoteurs pour chacune de nos scènes des 3 jours de festival: Urban Friday, Clubbing Saturday et le Classic Sunday.
Pourquoi restons-nous optimistes pour cet été?
Ostend Beach reste un festival à taille humaine et peut se dérouler avec une capacité de 5 000 visiteurs par jour. Nous pouvons également agrandir notre site et sommes convaincus que nous pouvons nous conformer à toutes les mesures qui sont imposées pour rendre les petits festivals possibles cet été. Nous suivons de près les développements et, avec les politiciens et les virologues, nous attendons avec impatience une ouverture à l'aide de tests rapides, de tests PCR négatifs et / ou d'un passeport de vaccination Covid. Après tout, nous sommes heureux que le gouvernement coopère de manière constructive à ces solutions.
Malheureusement, nous devons encore attendre de connaitre le résultat pour l'été et attendons une réponse fin avril, début mai. Pour notre festival, ce timing est juste à temps pour démarrer la production. Cependant, s'il est décidé qu'aucun petit festival ne peut avoir lieu au début de l'été, nous avons déjà élaboré une alternative pour pouvoir être avec vous aussi bien au début de l'été qu'à la fin de l'été. Assurez-vous de suivre notre site Web et nos réseaux sociaux pour cela. Nous vous tiendrons bien sûr également informés de la disposition des billets.
Nous tenons à souligner une fois de plus que chacun doit adhérer aux mesures sanitaires pour espérer se retrouver tous ensemble cet été. Prenez note du vendredi 9 avril pour une nouvelle session de diffusion en direct avec nos DJ en vedette.
