We tellen met zijn allen af naar de zomer en meer bepaald de festivalzomer. Deze zomer vindt voor de vierde keer Ostend Beach plaats, het grootste elektronische muziekfestival aan de Belgische kust. Om jong Belgisch talent de kans te geven zich te ontwikkelen organiseert “Ostend Beach” een DJ contest. De winnaar van onze DJ contest krijgt de eer onze JIM MainStage op zaterdag 13 juli te openen. Het is dus de ideale kans om als talentvolle DJ voor een groot publiek te spelen en bekend te worden!

Indien je je geroepen voelt om zaterdag onze JIM MainStage te openen moet je maar twee dingen doen: Inschrijven en een speciale “Ostend Beach” set afleveren. Als winnaar krijg je eer om het podium te delen met toppers zoals Tocadisco en Yves V. Alle inschrijvingen zullen worden voorgelegd aan onze jury. We verwachten een creatieve set van minstens 60 minuten waarin je het beste van jezelf geeft en die toont waar je als DJ voor staat. Alle genres zijn toegelaten!

Dus als je bereid bent onze MainStage van Ostend Beach te doen knallen, aarzel dan niet om je in te schrijven voor onze wedstrijd!

Yellow Claw is the party of the 21th century. The Claws mix up every genre which is within a sense of playing, from the electronic stuff like House and Electro, to Dubstep and all the way back to the Classics with HipHop and R&B. Add some of Bizzey’s most catchy lines and hooks and there you have it, one of the most innovating and entertaining club nights known to mankind. They play on Friday at the Culture Club Shelter, which announced it's complete Line Up! Another major new artist for Ostend Beach is Lazy Jay, 2 brothers playing on Saturday at the Studio Brussel Shelter. Famous for these 2 tracks: first Azealia Banks - 212 ft. Lazy Jay with already well over 19 million Youtube views, being hyped around the globe and next Will.i.am & Britney - Scream & Shout going for #1 in 53 countries and counting.

Dave Lambert is without a doubt one of the most influential DJs in the Belgian HOUSE scene. Besides playing all the big national festivals such as Sensation, Tomorrowland, Cityparade, Laundry Day, Groovecity and many more, he also was resident in Belgium’s biggest clubs such as Versuz & Zillion. Back at Ostend Beach to rock the Krush Club! 2 brand new artists at Ostend Beach to play on Saturday: Skyve & A-Bat. Skyve is Mixmaster at Studio Brussel, Belgium’s finest radio station, blending beats in Sound of Mish Mash, Sound of Sam, Switch Playground, Gunther D and the notorious Minifuif. A-Bat created the legendary Raving Zone party's and now has 2 concepts at Krush Club: Techno Deluxe & Klassik Night.

MARK KNIGHT + ROMEO BLANCO + DAVIDOV + SYNDAESIA + SEBA LECOMPTE to play Ostend Beach 2013

Grammy nominated artist, Mark Knight, is responsible for some of THE biggest dance records of the last decade. His signature sound burrs the boundaries between mainstream and underground and has propelled his revered imprint, Toolroom Records, to world domination. Mark will close the Krush Club House Dome on Friday and is the 2nd headline dj for the first festival day. True to his name, Romeo Blanco has successfully seduced the industry with a delectable studio dialect of universal resonance. MainStage dj at Summerfestival for some years now and back at our JIM MainStage this year alongside good friends Mystique & Licious!

A household name for quite a while at Culture Club, and everywhere else in Belgium for that matter, is Davidov. He will join the Culture Club resident dj team on Friday. With several epic releases under his belt and an official remix of “Iconoclasts” by the notorious hip hop collective Wu Tang Clan, belgian dubstep prodigy Syndaesia is turning heads all over the world. He joins good friend Murdock on Saturday at the Studio Brussels Shelter. Seba Lecompte will play the Decadance Techno Dome as a main dj of the infamous underground club in Ghent.
